A drawback I see to the knob only mixer is it limits
the users ability to visually associate what they hear
with what they see. IMNSHO, reguardless of the ideals
for mixing by ear, what you hear and see are
inseperable. This opinion is based on many years of
professional audio experience.

The consensus was that the mouse wheel is the
only
intuitive way to
control a knob with a mouse. The people who
disagreed probably don't
have a mouse wheel.
I have a mouse wheel, and I disagree. I really dont
remeber that being the
consensus either.
What if the app window is scrollable?
