Put the time into Ardour. It will pay you back very
quickly. It is
amazingly powerful, very flexible, but most importantly, IT WORKS
REALLY WELL! That last part is the problem with most of the Free MIDI
and composition software I have tried.
I second that. I didn't find some features at first, but after a few hours it's
one of the most easiest and efficient multitrack recording software I know.
