this integration as there must have been a lot of overlap in the code
design.
there isn't any really. they are embedding the max engine to live's
internals. jack's model doesn't really come into in any way. as usual,
the clever part is all in the GUI, where max-driven "objects" appear
to be exactly like "builtin" regular Live objects for processing etc.
