If sample rate:
sndfile-resample -to 44100 input.wav output.wav
Do read the man pages or 'sndfile-resample --help' or
'sndfile-whatever --help' so you'll see all the
options.
Thanks.
Actually I have failed, but this is probably not a software fault. The
48000 to 44100 conversion (with both "best sinc" and "ZOH"
interpolators) makes the sound *much* worse, the voice is distorted and
becomes "ringing".
I tend to blame vinyl noise for this. Serious denoising distorts the
sound too much so I don't do it. And when digitized noise is resampled
it probably makes the sound really bad.
Is there a way around this? I don't think so, but "just in case" I
decided to ask.

Question 2. Should I convert the rate before or
after "cleaning" the
sound in GWC?
