In any case, it's not out of hand yet - only
one page was
defaced and it was easy to roll back. But the discussions on
managing wiki spam certainly seem to have merit.
As someone who administers half a dozen wikis, I'm wondering:
were your wikis totally open in the C2 style, or did you require
registration before editing? Mine are all registration-required
and I'm wondering whether I need to worry.
