I'm not "against" systemd, I'm pro systemd, just against many parts of
systemd and against the attitude of some systemd developers.
My encounters with systemd haven't been positive. I have one system now
running Debian Sid (Debian 8). Debian has switched to systemd in Sid.
Shutdown time before the switch: ~30 seconds.
Shutdown time AFTER the switch: 5 minutes.
I guess they're still working on systemd.
debian sid is unstable by default, is the bleeding edge of debian releases to be used
"at
your own risk".
