Because the Audigy2 supports hardware mixing while Mike's sound card

So, what's the best way for me to get Audacity, at the very least, to be
able to play through my sound card (MAudio Delta 1010LT) while
JACK/Ardour is running so I can use it to easily edit exported wav files
from Ardour?
Would the semi-JACKified version that Fernando suggested he might build
for CCRMA do it?
You'll need to get the source and configure with the portaudio=v19 option:
./configure --with-portaudio=v19 --without-portmixer
CVS is best to get the latest.
For more information on how to compile with jack, see the thread that
this message is in.
