Add two lines to the file:
options [sound-driver-of-Audiophile] index=0
options [sound-driver-of onboard-sound] snd-intel index=1
Find the name of the driver/kernel module with
$lspci -v
and/or
$lsmod | grep snd
If lsmod would list something like snd_hda_intel, the sound
driver name to use in alsa-base.conf would be snd-hda-intel.

options ICE1712 index=0
options Intel ICH snd-intel8x0 index=1
should probably be just
options snd-intel8x0 index=1
