The best I have had with a usb-1.0 device is 128bit/s but I can run 4
alsaplayers, jack-rack and jackEQ at the same time with 4 outputs via
alsa multi. My cpu is a pIV 2.6GHz with 2.6.13.2 unpatched kernel.
You really want to get the most powerful cpu you can afford if you want
to have true freedom to run multiple apps.
I use ardour, audacity, hydrogen, ssm and terminatorX a lot too and
highly reccomend taps stereo echo plugin for live dub.

Apparently upon the beginning of the barrage, the donkey broke
discipline and panicked, toppling the cart. At that point, the rockets
disconnected from the timer, leaving them strewn around the street.
Tethered to the now toppled cart, the donkey was unable to escape before
