Anyway, this is just a verbose way to say that we could discuss what
constitutes a legitimate fusion of classic and pop all day and all night,
and, most likely, everyone on this list would still have a unique
answer. In the end, isn't it why we choose to make music: because it

And because it's fun :)
I recently have a lot of fun teaching the little piano playing I
know and today had a lot of fun playing "duets" on a single
piano. Not the kind of duet anyone would want to listen to, but a great
deal of fun when playing. The beat (metronome) + squeaking door (preset
synth sound) I played by accident today also was a lot of fun too :)
Just saying that playing some music and especially doing so together is
a lot of fun and probably one of the main reasons.
