I've found the problem. It works.
I'm going to write a whole report in a couple of hours. Now i've FINALLY
got to play some notes, which i wanted to do in the first place - about
20 hours ago :)

No need to reboot or to restart something. It just uses the new version (don't
forget to save your changes) on the next event.
And take a look at how your distribution handle custom rules. Could be that
changes to the main-config get overwritten by packages or
configuration-tools. But the distris should have a folder where you can place
your own persistent rule-files.
