I haven't tried a jack solution, but aseqnet works good for bridging alsa sequencers
over a network.

Hi
Is it possible to send midi over ethernet between two jack clients running on different
linux boxes? I don't need audio, just midi. I could buy a couple of midi interfaces,
but since they both have ethernet that would be for free, and I expect such a solution to
be at least as robust...
