did you try MrRay73?
It's a VST pulg-in for free but not open source. It work's for me
with xfst and with dssi-vst. You can find it here:

thanks a bunch for the hint.
But to be honest, I prefer to stay open source and I'd like to avoid
using Wine (no, I'm not religious :) .
