Hello,
I wanted to give the lv2_guitar plugin a try
(
http://www.lms.lnt.de/research/activity/systems/topics/synth/index_lv2.shtml)
and compiled it for my system, following some advice here:
http://wootangent.net/2011/06/lv2-synths-for-ardour-3-a-list/
but get no sound. The error message in qtractor reads:
lilv_plugin_instantiate(): error: No plugin
<http://www.lnt.de/lms/lv2_guitar/0> in
<file:///usr/lib/lv2/lv2_guitar.lv2/lv2_guitar.so>
looks like the build has failed what do you get with
file /usr/lib/lv2/lv2_guitar.lv2/lv2_guitar.so
I am not sure what this message means. Is a valid web URL required to
get LV2 plugins work?
No, the lv2-team only made the strange decision that adresses, that look
like web-urls could be a great way to identify LV2-plugins. Since this
does work normally, it is not further questioned ;-)
Thank you for any tip,
Yvonnick
