I would go along with a 1000 pixel minimum app

I don't have much sympathy anymore for users
that can't do better than
800x600 though. I'm getting 2048x1536 at 75Hz (had to brag).
800x600 (14" CRT) is realy small and I have never seen a Laptop
with 2048x1536 resolution...
I am using a IBM R40 (1300Mhz, 1 GByte Memory, 120 GByte HDD)
