On both I have
all the cdrom automount stuff turned off, same kernel,
same tuning.
Is there a place where I can easily turn this off? I thought I had it
defeated, but every so often my laptop tries hitting the cdrom every few
minutes. It happens on no schedule that I can figure, and can last for a
few hours, stop for a few hours, then start again, without my having
done anything that I can see as having affected it.
