Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm away from a decent internet
connection (google) and my firewire card atm.
The permissions on the FireWire device nodes should be set automatically
through udev iirc. If not then the necessary rules file in
/lib/udev/rules.d/ is missing and then you might have to create one
manually. Not sure how to do this though, I have zero experience with
the newer JuJu stack.
