It seems that 2.4.x kernels do not include the firmware for the 6|2
but only for the 2|6. However, it should be trivial to backport it if
you need it in 2.4.x.

AFAIK the Emagic EMI 6|2m works.
Can anyone else back up the Emagic 6|2m statement? Does it really work?
