There's no guarantee that buying records from secondhand record shops
are any better. Some of the old recordings were crap some were
brilliant, you soon got to know who were the craftsman and who were just
knob twiddlers. If the needle should jump out of the groove,
consider to remove the
counterweight and hot-glue a coin to the cartridge ;).
