Ah, the kind of problem going away that nobody wants apart from GUI
designers. It can probably synchronize via S/PDIF but that does not
really seem to buy you a lot.

Thank you for your feeback both of you. After fiddling even more
around in the user manual I found out that the Presonus FireStudio
Project interface doesn't even have ADAT, so my problem sort-of went
away on its own (replaced by a different one though; how to get extra
channels).
