Hi, all.
My program use portaudio API. All work fine, but when I tried to route audio stream to
jack by using oss2jack, at the beginning it writes:
Pa_SetupDeviceFormat: HW does not support 2 channels
then, when program begin to using audio channel, it crash with following message:
Pa_SetupDeviceFormat: HW does not support 2 channels
PaHost_WatchDogProc: killing hung audio thread!
Killed
Does anybody know how to use portaudio and oss2jack, or other way to route portaudio
based" audio stream to jack ?
PS: I can't use jacklaunch because it writes
jacklaunch: line 68: 1754 Killed

How about using portaudios' jack plugin?. Seems some got it
working. Anyone with experience here with portaudio v19?
There is also the plug:jack alsa plugin which works if your
card/driver don't require exclusive access.

than closed source VoIP apps).
I would never run any proprietary software;), but I do need
oss2jack. It's because apps like kphone, iaxcomm and asterisk don't
support jack, yet. I cannot use plug:jack because I can't use
anything alsa while I run jack (because my card/driver (hdsp) requires
exclusive access), which is all the time and there is no alsa2jack;)

.. PortAudio 19 is not released yet. PortAudio needs to make a v19 release. Badly.
