Just wondering what those who use Muse sequencer think of the beta 2.x
release versus 1.x for usability/stability...or would it be best to
stick with 1.x for actually getting projects done for now?

Being a bit biased as I'm part of MusE's dev team I would say that the
beta, or even better, the latest svn is much better than 1.1.
As you may know I dabble a bit with Using MusE also and it works very
good for me.
Still, do tell us if you encounter any problem.

Hi Robert!
I've been following OOM with much interest although I've not got round to
trying the latest svn version of Muse yet to see where its parent project
is up to now in comparison - I will hopefully remedy that this weekend.
However, looking at the specs of Muse 2.0 there is one glaring omission -
no support for LV2!? Will the final release support audio and MIDI plugins
using the now stable LV2 spec or not?

Indeed it's great that the spec is now in a stable state!
But sorry to say it will not be supported in 2.0, but it is coming,
probably in 2.1 later this year.

I've used the Muse2 beta a bit, but not yet for any actual real
projects yet (mainly use Rosegarden & Ardour/MixBus), but it's a good
app with a lot of good features and easy to use interface. I am going
to use it for my next big project to see how well it holds up.
