Hi,
I just received the newsletter from modartt. The new Pianoteq version
include a native linux version. It works using alsa or Jack.
There is a demo available here:

It's worth trying.

Indeed it is. I used the demo to play a few MIDI files of complex piano
works, the sound is excellent.

Interesting - Possibly disabling multicore support will get it to work....
I have noticed however that for me at least no midi devices show up in
Patchage... Is anybody else able to see a midi input

I use QJackCtl, the app's MIDI ports are listed in the ALSA tab labeled
