maybe i am missing something, but i think you're
being really twisted
here. running win32/x86 VST plugins on linux/x86 is one thing. but
trying to run win32/x86 VST plugins on */ppc is something entirely
different,
I was missing something, not you! ;-) (my statement wasn't clearly
enounced at all).
My idea was to run macos/ppc VST plugins on linux/x86. And not that I
want to run that, but I thought it could be an easier way to be able to
use some vst plugin in linux than running a win32/x86 VST plugin on a
linux/x86 system. But as you mention, it is insane... (as a damn simple
user without lots of knowlegde about these issues, I thought that linux
was "closer" to macos (because unix based) as win.)
Thank's for the answers (if I won't be able this idea, I have at least
improve my knowledge!).
