Hey,
Is anyone out there running Ubuntu Hoary?
Try "apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade" and log out of GDM...

but I'd like to add:
1) is it possible to run Demudi upgrading from ubuntu?
2) why in ubuntu alsaconf doesn't work?

I don't know if it is possible, probably, but almost certainly inadvisable.
The chances are that you would run into difficulties at some point and the
rest of us probably won't be able to help much. However, progress is only
made by those brave individuals who are willing to risk breaking their
systems in order to see if something can be done. ;-)

Worked great on both my machines.
Interesting, _very_ interesting.
As this would make a perfect combination to use in Community Arts projects, I
think I will have to try this out on a spare machine at mine.
