I have been trying to create a test CD to use for tuning a PA system in a
large auditorium, and I need a pink noise generator and a band pass filter to
create "test tones" at each one of the frequencies on the eq. I am
running
DeMuDi, and using ardour as a recorder. I have a myriad of LADSPA plugins
including a pink noise generator, but I cannot find a simple bandpass filter
that allows me to dial in the precise frequency and the bandwidth. I have
tried the TAP plugs, the CMT plugs, and the SWH plugs, and as far as I can
tell none have exactly what I need. If anyone can help me or knows where to
find what I am looking for, that would be great.

Rezounds generator is pretty precise. It's not what you're looking for but maybe
it will work.

The SOX tool has a bandpass and bandreject function, so presumably one
could record a white noise sample and colour it up with SOX.

single_band_para from SWH will do it.

single_band_para does not cut the other frequencies, it only boosts the
selected one. I need something that will only allow the selected frequency
and bandwidth to pass. Also, I need a Plug that has a frequency range at
least including 20khz

The 'Glame Bandpass Filter' (bandpass_iir, 1892) in SWH center and
bandwidth controls, plus a control for the number of stages / poles.

What host are you using? It should be in Hz, ranging from sample_rate/1000
to sample_rate/2 ish

I am currently running Ardour under DeMuDi 1.2.0 beta 1. I am not sure what
version of Ardour, comes with DeMuDi, but I will check when I get home.

What about Jamin'? You cant isolate but the 1/3 octive traditional 31
bands are represented graphically and you could at least peak the
respective freq after white noise.
