Hi Lee,
I've trying the commands in the vxloader directory
in the firmware directory
in the root directory
as root and as user
in several places
everything i've read talks about a vxloader utility
but on my setup vxloader is just a folder with driver files inside

The vxloader is no longer necessary.

You do not need vxloader on a modern system, the kernel will load the
firmware automatically.
