Some of my plugins aren't recognized by applications although they are
properly installed. I can reproduce this with ingen and jack-rack so
far. I have used these plugins before. Is this a known problem?

Hello!
I don't have any problems with ladspa plugins. and as far as I can remember
I've not heard something like it. Either all plugins aren't recognised or they
are. Did you take a look at your ladspa plugin directories (/usr/lib/ladspa
and /usr/local/lib/ladspa)? Are all your expected plugins there? Does 'ls -l'
show them to be something like
-rwxr-xr-x
(in terms of modes 755)?
Can you do something like:
cd /path/to/ladspa/plugins
analyseplugin ./broekn_plugin.so
I guess this info might be of help.

echo $LADSPA_PATH
What's that say? Mine is:
/usr/lib/ladspa:/usr/local/lib/ladspa
Yours probably should be similar.

I get lots of these errors from ingen there is a similar message from
jack-rack

that's a librdf bug iirc, which can be cured by upgrading librdf, but
i've ignored it for a few months now without ill effects.

New subject: ladspa plugins not found (solved)
Ingen excludes double plugins and does not respect this when loading
patches. So I'm changing the patches for now.
I'm wondering if vcf.so and vcf_cv_in.so are really the same. Different
size but same output on analyseplugins.

New subject: ladspa plugins not found (solved)
Hello Uli!
Perhaps the latter is a newer version of the same plugin. If it has the same
Unique ID, it should really be the same. that's how it's supposed to work...
