That is very good news! Is it 3.18 or 3.19 that will include the new ALSA
mixer stuff for multi-IO Focusrite devices? It would be nice to have an RT
option that coincides with that as well.

A short while ago there were issues with some AMD machines, but they are
solved. Latest (at least before 3.18) kernels-rt are broken regarding
switching the CPU frequency governor. You needed to compile with
"performance" and can't switch to "ondemand".
