Just found this massive font:

84MB.. the download speed is only 30 KB/s so it is taking me a bit of time
to get it, but the mp3s sound amazing.
I think it is probably more balanced than FluidR3, but will let you know
after some testing with various styles of music.
sYnerGi is a nice well balanced 8MB font.

I have the same card. As I understand it, you can't use the SoundFonts
in hardware, as you would with a SoundBlaster.
However, you *can* use a software sampler, like fluidsynth (I use the
qsynth graphical front-end to fluidsynth). Of course, this depends on
the capabilities of your processor, RAM, and so on.
I have a P3 700Mhz machine, with something in the region of 600MB SDRAM.
I find that a couple of largeish soundfonts in fluidsynth (bass and
drums from naturalstudio) takes up 49% of my RAM.
