Hello all - I was just parusing Recording Mag and got reminded of a
question - are there any software based Oscilliscopes or RTAs out there, for
doing some measuring and such? (I don't THINK I've found such a thing yet,
but I have much on my list I haven't gone through yet)...

Have a look at meterbridge.. it's for jack though...

For the digital level meters: Do you look at every sample? What are the
update rates? What are the peak decay rates?

Yes, I look at every sample, I cant remember what the decay rate is, but
its given in the IEC 268 spec. I can look it up if you need to know.
