b-step - sequencer vst-plugin http://b-step.monoplugs.com/
It comes with a linux native vst.
I didn't get the chance to test the demo, but the video sounds nice...

Hi Aurélien,
I've briefly tested this plugin but didn't really dig the bass guitar
orientation. Also, with the advent of the LV2 versions of the QMidiArp
modules I think I prefer those. The plugin looks great though. It's open
source big brother Cythar is worth checking out too.
