I don't have this device, but I have some general
tips.
If you have a laptop (and I guess you have, because the ReMote 25
would be a good laptop controller) then you may be able to check this
device at your friendly dealer. Just take you laptop with you and
"modprobe snd-usb-audio" at the shop.
I planned to do this already. But if someone here could say for sure
that it does/doesn't work, I wouldn't bother.
Another good thing to check is if the manufacturer
uses the standard
OS-X drivers, or if it uses some proprierary drivers for OS-X. The
standard drivers would hint at the device being class compliant, which
would mean a good chance, that the standard ALSA drivers will work as
well.

I couldn't find clear info about this on the
novation website, so your
best bet would be to ask the support by mail.
I hope to find time later this week to check it out at my friendly
dealer, and I'll report the outcome back here...
