Hi everyone,
I am looking for a very simple no-gui mid-controlled volume control for
jack audio server. Do you have something in mind because I have not found
something that fits my needs in the usual pages :

What do you mean by a volume controller? Something like a pedal to run
audio through and raise/lower the volume? I could think of a few things
for that. When you say JACK-aware: are we talking JACK MIDI and/or JACK
audio? If you can specify your needs a little more there might be a
solution.

Hi all,
yes jack midi to control the volume and of course (stereo) audio ins and
outs.
non-mixer seems great for a desktop gui, does it offer no-gui as well?
I just realised that jack_mixer does offer a simple c application
"jack_mix_box" which is more or less what I need.
It is a simple (well I could go for simpler..), midi controlled volume
controller without a gui. I guess the only thing that is missing is some
signal to report in cli the volume level.
Are there other options?
