I have the same output and curiously, it happens
every-time if there is
more than one plugin in the VST_PATH directory (not only the first time)
What is
happening in my setup is that with each invocation of dssi-vst the
dssi-vst-scanner adds one more of those 4-byte entries to its cache
(~/.dssi-vst). When all the plugins are listed in the cache the output
changes and I get the "all cache files are up to date" message. However, even
if I only have one plugin in my VST path, I cannot get dssi-vst to run it.
"WINEDEBUG=+relay jack-dssi-host dssi-vst.so:Phibes.dll" doesn't produce
any
output I understand, but I can post it anyway if that would be useful.
it is probably the same output that I provide in the thread "wine doesn't
let dssi-vst running" I thought I had resolved the issue by modifying the
config file but I was wrong because I was using a directory with only one
plugin in. If I use a directory with more than one plugin in it gives
every time this output : wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting
debugger...and so on :-(
My output is not the same actually. This is because
dssi-vst fails to invoke
the debugger. Using the WINEDEBUG= thing was a workaround for this, but it
gives me a lot of repetitive guff without the memory dump to make it all
worthwhile.
PS: we are finally a bunch of LAU to use Gentoo :)
Let's hang in there, brother!
