Hi folks....anyone running lv2rack on a debian system?
I installed phat and pyphat from svn, built lv2, zynjacku/zyn, but
when I try to run lv2rack, I get:

which probably explains why I get the error trying to run lv2rack.
Any ideas on a fix, if any?
Also, can banks be loaded into zyn when run from zynjacku?

did you build with?

It works here so something is different in your setup. I'd be glad to
know what is it and I'll try to fix it. I'll spend more time on this
when I get home. Do you get error messages on stdout/stderr? Maybe this
error path needs to give more fieedback to user.

There are no messages in stdout. The only situation where I get messages in stdout is when
closing a calf synth, not zynadd, but the calf plugins behave normally:
CALF DEBUG: instance 0x9e80000 data 0x9e7eca4
CALF DEBUG: calf 0xb11ee9d4 cpi 0xb0a55550
No errors at zynjacku compile time either.
Since this afternoon I tried to compile zynadd from git, but with the same behavior. The
plugin seems to work and even produces the init sound. Just the GUI is missing.
I can provide other information later if you wish

Hi Frank,
I've fixed some minor issues with that status message.
It was appearing here too, even when the zynadd UI was successfully
generated. You can update zynjacku from git but I doubt that this will
fix your problem. Please drop in Freenode #lad some evening (when I'm at
home, in Europe) so we can manage faster communication and "try this and
that" kind of stuff.

New subject: [solved] Empty zynadd GUI in zynjacku
Just to not lose this information for all those who might have trouble with the zynadd GUI
in zynjacku:
Nedko found out that a bug (apparently related to i18n) in my slv2 version (0.6.1) was
causing the trouble.
The solution is: a working zynadd GUI requires slv2-0.6.2 to be installed.

Just an update to my previous posts on the topic. I finally realized
that I did *not* have the CALF synths installed. Oh well.
Synths are now installed, zynjacku and lv2rack are updated, everything
works as advertised.
But lordy I do hate the default color theme for OpenSUSE 10.2. Apps like
zynjacku have a drab washed-out look to them. Can anyone tell me how to
change it to something a lot less green ? Or how to set an individual
GTK2 application's color scheme ?

I don't know what suse provides but there are some helpful apps like
gtk-theme-switch2 and gtk2_prefs.

For changing and pre4viewing GTK2 themes, I used to use an app called
gtk-chtheme, it was available from guru's repository up to (open)SUSE 10.2.
Now Guru (Pascal Bleser) has stopped to maintain his own repo and merged
his stuff into the Packman repo, but i'm not sure if this one is still
available there. For openSUSE package search there is this nice Webpin
service which searches most of the Build Service repos, Packman and the
main OSS, Non-OSS and Update repos: http://packages.opensuse-community.org/
Ah, and in case you use KDE4, the Control Center (systemsettings, Appearance)
has a module to configure your GTK2 theme, and an option to apply the KDE4
colour settings to non-KDE4 programs(in Appearance/Colour scheme) ...
