Hi list,
have someone used a kernel 3... in Debian with success and the magic
IRQ script ?
Means, are kernels from 3 tree RT patched, or at least usable with the
script ??

Hello Fred,
Mainline kernels are not RT patched but rtirq does work on those kernels
if you add the threadirqs kernel option. And there is a real-time
patchset available for the 3.0 kernel, haven't tried it myself as I'm
using an older release of a well known distro and I'm quite happy with
2.6.33-19-realtime from Tango Studio.

Hey Fred!
I'm getting *great* results with linux 3.0.6 with `threadirqs' and
also the recent linux 3.0.6-rt17 (both with rtirq 20111007)
Linux-rt was freezing my system as of rt14, but rt17 is working just
perfect, could not have been better. I worked all day yesterday
without any problems, it's simply perfect!
