Hello. Before anyone buys Creative's Platinum cards, I would like to tell how they most probably are not working. Multiple times I have tried to verify this with alsa-devel guys, but it looks like nobody else has tested. People only believes that their card is working but in reality it is not working as expected. If you disagree and have better info, please mail me and I will give you exact info how to test the card. I mean exact! We do not need anymore rumors and believes. Do not work in Alsa: -LiveDrive line-in 2 does not come out from the mix bus, but does come out via AC97 (whatever) path (perhaps low quality) -LiveDrive aux input does not work Has anyone tested the developer.creative.com drivers? How to test them with Alsa? I don't want install OSS. Can somebody test both Alsa and the d.c.c drivers? Best regards, Juhana
