Radium is an open source music editor with a novel interface.
It's inspired by trackers, but has fewer limitations and uses graphics

This is hard. I guess Qt dynamically brings in new libraries through
your
default style, or perhaps some other Qt plugin you have in your system.
I don't know if there is an environmental variable or a different
function
to prevent that from happening. I didn't find anything Googling such a
thing.
But can you try renaming bin/libQtDBus.so to bin/libQtDBus.so.4
and rename bin/libQtSvg.so to bin/libQtSvg.so.4 ?

Yep, now it starts up :D It core dumps a little later though (see below
for output). I haven't found out for a while now how to inspect core
dumps with gdb. Something has changed there. All I ever get from gdb is
"No stack"..

Ooops, copy and paste error here :D Still same error though:
This is hard. I guess Qt dynamically brings in new libraries through your
default style, or perhaps some other Qt plugin you have in your system.
I don't know if there is an environmental variable or a different
function
to prevent that from happening. I didn't find anything Googling such a
thing.
But can you try renaming bin/libQtDBus.so to bin/libQtDBus.so.4
and rename bin/libQtSvg.so to bin/libQtSvg.so.4 ?

Radium is compiled with "-O3 -mtune=generic -msse"

I'll download ubuntu lts and install it in virtualbox. I tried the
non-lts
version of ubuntu 12, and that worked, but lts seems to use an

for your processor...

Pretty sure the problem is that sse math crashes. It's just a
coincidence
that zita reverb was the first code to use sse math. Radium would crash
later for you anyway, even if zita reverb wasn't used.

Using the Faust version made it possible to port the zita reverb in
only a
few minutes, since I have a faust architecture file for Radium. In
addition,
I don't need the equalizer controls and the dry/wet controls (since
those
things are available on all sound objects in Radium), and removing
that code from your version (C++) is more work than removing the same
code from Faust code.
