Hi,
I'm testing Demudi Live v 1.2.1, hope the response is not hidden by my
nose, I'd like to run the live-system from hard drive instead of runing
from CD-Rom.
I use parameter fromhd=/dev/my_partition or bootfrom=my_iso_image.iso
with KNOPPIX to speed up access, is there a similar cheatcode for this
Demudi Live version ?

Hi,Demudi Live is only for testing and have some preview of what you
get when installing demudi but no recommended for installing on hd (I
don't know if that could be done).You must download the install iso here
http://demudi.agnula.org/images/1.2.1/demudi-install_1.2.1_i386.iso
and install from this.

I didn't wanted to install Demudi live but wanted to start it from Hard
disk :)
I've just discovered that It was Ubuntu Live, I was thinking it was a
Morphix based but it seems to use directly debian-installer ^^
In fact Knoppix allow you to boot from an image (cloop or cloop inside
iso image) stored on hard drive or flash key with a boot parameter
(cheatcodes), then system only losts time to decompress files.
You must download the install iso here
http://demudi.agnula.org/images/1.2.1/demudi-install_1.2.1_i386.iso
and install from this.
Live systems allow to show easily a piece of what GNU/Linux knows, you
are right I have to make one a musician to be able to make one a live :D

Hi all,
Demudi live is nice for me to discover easily how play a musician
pinguin, I'd like to thanks ones who make or help making it.
At this point I manage to boot from HD since init looks for cloop file
in CD-Rom.
Demudi live works fine on my principal computer, but I've some problem
on my laptop a CLE266 graphic based, I think it is about via module wich
hangs when drm is compiled in kernel (cf: unichrome list) but did'nt
find how to specify vesa instead.
Well this is not so important because I have manage to show Demudi live
on my friend's laptop, who is sound engineer and I think he was very
impressed by jack :)

yeah, i'd like to be one more on this chorus. i use demudi live on my
workshops here in brasil, and it works well, but it depends the ram of
the computer, i think the computer with less than 512ram, it doesn't
work well - and here this is the reality of the most of the
computers... anyway demudi livre is a great way to show the linux
audio tools.
