Absolutely, that is
a very good point indeed. Bundling simple and
not-so-simple tasks into user-defined macros is even now very
straightforward using the custom.pl file (perl knowledge not required).
I once saw someone attempting to use automator to perform some tasks in
Logic... and fail.
