Good question. I did not get any such messages in 2.6/23-rt1, 2.6.28, 2.6.29
(unpatched) kernels. Only with 2.6.29-rt1.
If there is some other addendum to this patch, tell me.
The rt patches also seem to run afoul of via IDE controllers, less so in the
2.6.29-rt1 but still occurs: invalid 0 opcodes, IDE resets, DMA disabled.
