Hi all,
I know that many advanced users don't use pulseaudio on theirs machines at all.
But anyway I would like to ask here if there is somebody who use it
and what is his experience?
I would like to have it because advanced audio work is just about 30%
what I do on my machine,
but having quite a lot of troubles with it here.
PA sometimes stops work after system awaking and never work again
after using jackd.
Even if I am using "pasuspender -- jackd" in my setting.

Any suggestions for not_only_audio laptop setting very appreciated.

I use the jack sink for pulseaudio, since I keep jackd running all of
the time. This allows me to use a web browser or audition audio files
via file manager or similar while jack is running. Never gives me a
bit of trouble.

If by 'suspend/resume' you mean suspending the machine and making it
hibernate, I don't use that functionality.

Script is nothing fancy, you just need to make a config file, put it
into ~/.pulse, then run:
$ pulseaudio -k # kills any running daemon
$ pulseaudio -DnF <path to config>

Thanks for this ... this is even more close to what I would like to have.
PA for normal use.
PA on top of jack when audio_work.
PA back when stop audio_work.

Starts nicely I just had to install pulseaudio-module-jack package
here on my debian system.
Audicity works through jack or through PulseAudio Jack sink perfectly.
Just audio from flash (e.g. Youtube) sound choppy I mean there is very
frequent continuous interrupting.
Any solution for this?
