Hello
Aliki always crashes with "buffer overflow" if I try to load a sweep
file (just generated with default values) from capture window.
Is it a known bug and is there any work around?

completely borked. My machine does run days without doing a shutdown and I
never get errors. If I run memtest, the same version, from different

dependency, it might be worth to compile the dependency.

Compiled from source -> same result.
Tested on the another machine under fresh install of Linux Mint (from
packages and manually build) -> same result.
It just doesn't work.
I just want to record IR.
May be I should try another program.

You didn't compile all dependencies too? I'm not sure if it would be wise
to do this, it might break your Linux and a chroot or virtual machine
might be less good for recording. If you first used a package, report this
bug.

During the last 24 hours I've re-installed and tested Aliki on 7
different machines, in all cases it just works. The common factors
are that all are running Archlinux, 32-bit.
Are you sure to have tested the version compiled from source ?
It will install in /usr/local, while the original one from your
distro will be in /usr. You could have ended up with two versions.
To get anywhere I'll need a bit more info. Please provide the
output of:
uname -a
ldd <full path to aliki>
ldd <full path to aliki-rt>
