This may be old news, but today I successfully recorded a beautiful stereo recording via USB, using the Digigram UAX220 interface. The unit is truly professional and shows up instantly in Audacity I have on Ubuntu Lucid (10.04). My laptop is a ThinkPad Z61m 2GHz, 1GB ram. Bu the way, the UAX220 turned as instantly up in Mac OS on an iMac... Erik Sutterud
