Hi Guys, since i also use Ubuntu i'm on the Ubuntu dev list. Here's
someone ( Castle OfWhite/Chateau DuBlanc ) first complaining about
systemD. He even "wrote" a "song" about that called Jumble of Lines
and
published it on youtube (youtu.be/ACDi1YOcupk). The best part: He uses
the GPL to license the SONG!! Prompted by others that the GPL is
inadequate for non-software, that is, art material, this is his reply.
Needless to mention, he was banned from the list.

that. If anything i believe it's a good thing to ventilate anger, as
long as it is expressed with laughter and not physically (yeah...

How about the scenario where i publish my ardour project, including all

I remember when Creative Commons launched (went to the launch party, saw Larry Lessig do a
powerpoint, ate good food, and saw Aaron Swartz there, alas RIP).
The whole point of CC, as I recall, was to apply GPL-like copyleft principles to
non-software works.
I'm not a lawyer tho.
And I found that email exchange more sad than funny, kind of like watching a train wreck.

Why is GPL considered inadequate for non-software ?
I have not yet got an answer to that.
E.g. I have made [1] and that is the result of "compiling" the files
in [2]. The files under [2] is clearly "code", shouldn't the result
be able to have a GPL license ?
