The Phasex site is now a porn list. The author of this neat synth seems
to have disappeared.
I suggest that someone put the last source code on a public ftp site.

There are a couple bugs in there I've been meaning to work on and eventually fix. If I
(or anyone else) gets to that, it might be nice to have a place to post patches.

I was just able to download it from here:

It's in some of the Gentoo repositories but not others, it seems. Wasn't
too hard to find since the guy's domain only expired last week, allowing
me to get the most recent tarball filename from their cache.
Makes me wonder if it would be worth it to build a cache of every project
people announce on LAU, at least those not hosted on something like
sourceforge.net or launchpad.net. I wonder how many marginally maintained
projects are hosted on Geocities, for example, which is closing down
sometime this year.

It seems that the domain expired the 7 days ago. It is still cached by
Google[1]. Just click on "cached". I found sysex.net through
dnshistory.org[2]. But unfortunately there is no way to get to sysex.net
because it is probably a virtual domain at lysdexia.org[3] (ww's other domain
that also seems to have expired). lysdexia.org can still be reached[4].
