Here's one of my tunes. It's called "modlys". I don't know the exact
translation, but it's the technical term for taking a photo against the
light, direct translation would be against-light"...

Nice tune Atte. I don't think understanding the language matters too much with
the vocals. it's just a case of how it sounds. I'm sure that understanding
the language would give more meaning to the song, but I remember a lot of
stuff from the 60's, but can't remember the words. That doesn't take anything
away from what these tunes mean to me though.

Silhouette? Back-lit? The first is when you see only the shape,
because of the light background. The second just means lit from
behind.
I haven't listened to the track yet, but I will when I can.

Nice sounds, a bit too clean for my taste, perhaps.
The click sound bothers me. To my perception, it steps into the foreground
with this rather cheap sound that works against the mood.
Your girl can sing. Flawless to my ears and the timbre alone is pure
beauty.

I agree, the clicks are anoying. Except from that, it's great.

Still surprised. Now I've grown so used to it, that I think the only
thing to do (besides leave it as it is) would be to remove it, listen
awhile without and experiment with other sounds.
Basically what I was trying to to was to have
something-else-than-an-actual-drum on two and four. Since the rest of
the track is pretty unclear about downbeats I wanted something not
normally associated with a backbeat. The "clicks" are an attempt (in
zynaddsubfx) to emulate the beep of a digital wrist watch...
Not that an explanation makes it sound any better :-)
What linux software are you using?
All sounds are zynaddsubfx, ardour for vocals.

This really a very enjoyable gentle piece of music. Some unusual, but
very nice sounds. I'm impressed with the singer too.
