The Ubuntu project has announced the launch of its second Free Culture
Showcase initiative. The developers behind the popular Linux
distribution are giving artists in the free culture community a unique
opportunity to have their creative works included in the next major
version of Ubuntu.
Participants can submit music, video clips, or images, which will be
evaluated by a panel of judges. The winning items will be included on
the Ubuntu 9.04 Live CD and in the default installation.
