Hi all,
It's been quite a while since I last posted any songs I believe so here are
three (four) of them to remedy that.
Been working on these during the year and finally took some time to try and
put an end to them.
The songs where mostly done by myself but the last one is a collaborative
adventure with a guest singer.

The fourth is what I call "not much music" in the sense that the music
is there to support the lyrics and if you do not know swedish...

Thanks. The only recording I'm sure of is the beginning of Pussel which I
redid recently, it uses a Studio Project B1, so nothing fancy.
Some of the other guitars are likely with a Zoom H1 audio recorder. It is a
bit noisy but I very much like the stereo image it provides, the noise
isn't much of a problem with the kind of low dynamic recordings I do.
Microphone brands aside I think the placement of the mic makes a big
difference (pointing to the 14th fret mostly) and ofcourse eq:ing, I often
cut a lot of bass so the guitars don't interfere too much with other
instruments.

Yeah it's a nice tune, a local talent. Though it being there is more of an
accident, I'm not really "getting" how you are supposed to use soundcloud,

Oh interesting, assuming you are talking about the video. Not sure I agree
as I'm very happy with how it turned out, but I see what you mean with
listening to a language you don't understand, and I guess the lyrics are
kind of important for it.

Indeed. I found out in my case, fingerpicking, that placing the mics
too close to guitar also picks up more fret noise. Fret noise is
OK, but sometimes it makes me cringe :) Which maybe is not so much of a
consideration for strumming.

freshness to me, which is exactly what I need these days. :) And having
gone back to listen to a couple of your earlier material, I can hear a
consistent route from them to this. This shines particularly through
when listening to "The Wunderbaum". So, in addition to giving me three
fresh faced friends for a dark and cold day, you introduced me anew to
some old acquaintances, for which I should thank you again. :)

There's still a way to go before I'm satisfied with everything myself, I
for instance overdo the compression and there's some sloppy drum
programming, but at some point you have to draw the line and release or it
will never be done. There are more songs to record and overall I'm pretty
happy :)
